"My job is to tell the right story to the right audience using the right method of communication."
Since completing a self-designed Independent Scholar program for her Master of Fine Arts degree, Beth has paved a unique and ambitious career path. From 1991 to 1996, Beth wrote and produced healthcare training videos, first for CineCraft Health & Safety Systems in Cleveland and then as a freelancer in Chicago. A move to the Washington, DC area in 1996 expanded her marketing skills to fundraising where she managed direct mail campaigns for health charities and other nonprofit organizations.
In 1999, Beth took on the role of Director of Marketing at TheraCom making the leap to the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Beth developed educational materials for patients, medical professionals, and sales support and marketing initiatives for Gaucher’s disease, pulmonary hypertension, Fabry’s disease, thyroid cancer, hepatitis C and multiple sclerosis. She stayed with TheraCom through 2005. On day two of 2006, Beth joined Bethesda Partners, working with start-ups and small health care companies as a marketing and communications consultant. As a founding team member of CareMetx, she leads the marketing and communications efforts.
